Count your reps in reverse. Rather than counting from 1 to 10, for example, count from 10 to 1. This causes your workouts to feel shorter because you are thinking in smaller amounts. Telling yourself you have a certain amount left can help you retain motivation.

Break runs into three distinct phases. Begin at a slow and steady pace and gradually increase your pace in small increments. Run the last third as fast as you are able to. This will help to increase your endurance levels, and you will be able to run longer each time you go out.
